DC power obstruction lights are known for their reliability and energy efficiency. They provide consistent illumination with minimal power consumption, making them an excellent choice for telecom towers that require dependable lighting without incurring high energy costs. Mr. Panios highlighted the need for low-intensity obstruction lights, which are ideal for marking shorter structures or those situated in less congested areas. These lights ensure visibility without overpowering the surroundings, maintaining a balance between safety and aesthetic considerations.

For towers requiring higher visibility, especially in areas with significant air traffic, medium-intensity obstruction lights are indispensable. These lights offer a higher lumen output, ensuring that the structures are clearly visible from a distance. This is crucial for compliance with aviation safety regulations, which mandate specific lighting requirements for tall structures. Mr. Panios recognized the importance of these lights for their taller towers, ensuring maximum visibility and safety.

An exciting aspect of our discussion was the potential of solar power obstruction lights. These lights harness solar energy, providing a sustainable and eco-friendly solution. They operate independently of the electrical grid, reducing both energy costs and the carbon footprint. The integration of solar power is particularly advantageous for remote towers where grid access might be limited or non-existent.

Our meeting concluded with a mutual understanding of the benefits that both low and medium-intensity obstruction lights can bring to Econet Wireless Zimbabwe’s telecom towers. We are excited about the prospect of supporting Econet Wireless in their efforts to enhance tower safety and efficiency with our advanced lighting solutions.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration and assisting them in selecting and implementing the best solutions for their needs.
