Recently the CDT technical team have been visited the client who are from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh(PGCB) in Suzhou,to discuss the aircraft warning lights application to the high voltage electrical transmission line.
PGCB is the sole organization of Government of Bangladesh entrusted with transmission of power throughout the country. They are focused on to build a strong internal communication network facilities consist of optical fiber. Presently, PGCB has 400 kV, 230 kV and 132 kV transmission lines across the country. In addition, PGCB has 400/230 kV grid substations, 400/132 kV grid substations, 230/132 kV grid substations, 230/33 kV grid substations and 132/33 kV grid substation. Besides, PGCB has been connected with India through a 1000 MW 400 kV HVDC Back to Back station (equipped with two blocks). To implement “Vision 2041” in the light of Master Plan of the government in power sector, PGCB is gradually building strong national grid network.
For this time,they are visiting to one of famous cable manufacturing company and invited us to discuss how to set the aircraft warning lights to their new 230kv high voltage transmission line towers.As our previous discussing for the video meeting,we give suggestion that to layout the high intensity aviation obstruction light to the electrical towers,but after we provide the proposal and the owner rejected this plan,because they wanna use the solar powered aircraft warning beacon light to the lines.And the executive engineer of PGCB Mr.Dewan told us the beacon is worked with white flashing in the day and red flashing at night.Considering the convenient of installation solar aircraft warning beacon light,we design the separated solar powered beacon lights to the electrical towers.Cause separate the beacon with solar panel and battery with control system is more convenient to install them,and saving more labor and cost.During this meeting,we shared some videos about our previous project to the client for reference.
But even for that,the client thought separated solar powered LED aviation obstruction light will be used more cables,because we need more cables to connect with beacon light,solar panel , control panel system and battery system.If the installation engineers are not familiar for these device,the installation process will be met much problems,even destroyed the lights.So they hope us provide the integrated one.In order to meet the customer requirements,our chief engineer modified the proposal during this meeting and finally gave the better plan to the client.
